About the CentreCreated in 1974, the Seminar aims to develop a critical study of legal phenomenon on an interdisciplinary basis. The Seminar is interested in the evolution of contemporary Law and has, so far, focused its reflection on the nature of legal reasoning, the changes in the role of the Judge, the relation between law and interest, and the images and uses of nature in law and "negotiated law". The theme presently chosen by the Seminar is : law, language and literature. In each case, the Seminar considers law within its social and human context. The Seminar publishes a review : the Revue interdisciplinaire d'études juridiques, as well as a collection of books which reflects the synthesis of its studies. It collaborates in a post-graduate program in Legal Theory, the European Master's in Legal Theory. Keywordslaw / interdisciplinarity.
